My computer has gone on the fritz. And all of my templates and upload parameters and all of that wonderful crap is currently locked away in a machine that won’t open.
So, no comics for a bit, at least not until I get my computer reassembled. To make up for it I might shift to three times a week for a bit, but I make no promises there.
Stay tuned, I will return.

Next week is Christmas and involves lots of time spent in the car. So, no new comics next week. I know it breaks your heart, but we’ll return December 30th.

I finally got around to listing Stamp of Adventure on some Webcomic lists, including WebComicList.com. It’s kind of sad that I’m about 30-40 comics into this thing and I just now thought to mention it to people that keep track of webcomics.
You’ll notice that the number in the Web Comic List box to the right there is pretty high. If everyone voted for my comic there that number might drop by one. But probably not. Why not give it a shot anyway?

I missed Talk Like a Pirate Day. How the hell did I do that? I have a comic about pirates and I miss Talk Like a Pirate Day.
In other news, I have my first round of buttons made up, which is pretty exciting. I have one of the Captain and one of the Ninja. This first round will be mounted on cards with the web address on them and distributed for free around local colleges. My goal is to get more people on the bloody site.
I’ll probably do the same with most of the next set, and the rest will go up on a store to try and bring in a little cash. Unless, of course, there is still no real traffic coming to the site, then I’ll just give more of them away. No point trying to sell an item that no one is aware of.
So, that’s the state of affairs so far. The shirts are still in the works, so keep your eye out for them. I know I will be.

I went to work yesterday and spent the whole day sweating. The sad part is I was one of the few Instructors in an Air Conditioned room.
My wife was sweet and offered to do a guest strip while I was sick, but she isn’t all that familiar with Gimp, Inkscape, Filezilla and Wordpress, which is what I use to in addition to the physical stamps to crank this puppy out. Granted, I’m not some kind of power user on any of those programs myself, but I know what I need to do to make this comic. So, showing her how to do all of that would actually be almost as difficult as making a comic myself. While her offer was very sweet, it ultimately defeats its own purpose. Maybe someday soon, though.
I’m looking at this as my quarterly break. One where I get to sweat, cough, and sneeze to my hearts content. Yeah, that’s my silver lining.
See you next Tuesday when the Pirates hit the island. Or maybe the other way around.
