I finally got my css doing what I wanted it to. It turns out I failed to copy a / an the style sheet, and that confused the heck out of everything. I still have some more changes in mind, but I think I’ve got the big stuff out of the way. Colors may drift a bit, but I think I pretty much have things the way I want for now.
Oh, by the way, some of the appearance stuff doesn’t work in Opera or Internet Explorer. I’m sure there is a fix for it out there somewhere, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal (I made the corners round), so I’m not going to worry about it. No functionality is lost, the site just looks a little friendlier in other browsers (i.e. Chrome or Firefox).
Right then, comics on Tuesday.

I just updated all of the site software, and now I get to play with some of my settings. It’s right about now that I realize I really don’t know php or html at all, hence the less than impressive color scheme.
Never fear though, I’ll get that sorted out shortly.

My wife interviewed for a job last week and we have been waiting to hear the verdict all weekend. As a result, I haven’t really been able to focus on much of anything for more than 5 minutes at a go. (Except Martial Arts training, there’s something about a stick coming toward your head that focuses puts things in perspective.)
I’m going to take the week off and get some stuff done, both with the comic and with my actual job. I’ll see you all back here next Tuesday.
Oh, and you should have buttons in hand by the end of the week, assuming the Post Office doesn’t give me dirty looks for putting pointy things in the mail.

Wow, I suggest using the Feed and my RSS numbers jump up. Maybe I should suggest you give me money. Lots and lots of money.
Hmm. Probably not gonna happen. But you could make me very happy and vote for Stamp of Adventure at Top Webcomics (just click the link in the right hand bar there, it’s fairly painless). And what we be even better is if you told a friend or two about the comic.
Okay, that’s all, I was just excited about the rise in subscribers and thought I would share. I’ll get buttons out to the folks that have requested them on Monday.
And there’s still a few buttons floating around if you want one just email me your address buttons (at) stampofadventure.com
See you Tuesday.

In my foresight I completely forgot to actually make a comic for today. I planned to, I even know what the joke is, and, for the most part, I know what it looks like. But everything I need to produce that comic is currently 200 miles away (give or take).
On the bright side I think I managed to hack part of an IQ test, which is a bit of a hoot, though my working memory still appears to suck. Anyone with suggestions on how to improve that will be thanked, and may end up in the comic. (That is both bribe and threat, depending on your point of view.)
I hope next week will be better.
