I’m 3/4 the way to the second 100 comics, and I’m still torn about whether or not to do another book. Not only that, but if I do another one should I do it in color or black and white. I’d like to say the first book as been selling well, but that would be an outright lie. We’ll see how I feel about it in a few more weeks.

I wasn’t certain I was going to get the strip up today. I’ve been a little burned out after a serious drive, but I knew if I used that as an excuse even more excuses would follow.

Hey, it looks like the Ninja and the Captain might be back in the strip soon. I hope so, anyway. The Little Pirate running might get a little old.

I was tempted to go after the “he doesn’t have eyes” joke (in fact, that was the first punchline), but thought the eye patch was a better option.

On another note, as you read this (most likely) I’m out of the country. You know what that means? I actually uploaded the comic sometime other than the night before it was scheduled to go up. Quite astounding, let me tell you. I’ll let you in on another secret; Thursday’s comic is already up, if you’re impatient and clever you can see it now.

It looks a little like the Dilo is trying to out Little Pirate the Little Pirate. But where do the Dilo’s loyalties lie?

Whoof! I just finished grading Sunday night and switched to a new computer Monday. I keep forgetting how much stuff I rely on can pile up until I’m using a machine that doesn’t have all of the programs and files I’m used to. But I think I’ve got everything I need for the comic transfered over now.

Every time I make a strip with a bit of color in it, I keep worrying about the next book. At present, printing these strips as they are means the book will cost close to $30, and it isn’t like the first one is a hot mover at $10. But, we’ll see what happens.

Sorry for the long silence. Family friendly humor has not been in the front of my mind lately, and I didn’t like the idea of my own issues seeping into the minds of some of my friend’s children. But that appears to be over for a bit and I have the next month or so’s strip scripted and ready to go.

I’m liking the boas for some reason. I’m not sure what that might say about my personality, really.

I have no idea why I find Showtunes so funny. It’s not like I even really know any.
