More of Eli’s artwork surfacing in the comic.
Some of you may have noticed the Compassionate Friends link in the sidebar. If you click on it (not right now) the link will take you to a donation site for The Compassionate Friends, a group to help deal with the grief of losing a child.
One of the things the group does, apart from the obvious support group/therapy style of thing, is a yearly candle lighting service. The second Sunday in December (the 13th this year) a candle light vigil is held in the various cities around the world. At 7 pm at each location candles are lit, so the candle light moves around the world with the time zones. This Sunday, we will be in Indianapolis lighting a candle for Eli. If you know of anyone who has lost a child you can go to the event website, read a better description, and find out where a local ceremony is being held.
I’ll remind you again on Thursday and try to post pics next week. Far too many candles.
